FAQ's
What is Frequency Running?
Frequency Running is personalised, science-informed running coaching designed around your goals, your life and your body. Every program is individually built and adjusted over time, with a focus on performance, consistency and long-term running health.
What makes Frequency Running different from other coaching services?
Your training isn’t pulled from a template, and we don’t rely on AI. Every program is built by Eli Burke, a physiotherapist and competitive runner.
We take the time to understand your goals, running history, schedule, strengths and limitations, then build a program around what works for you. If an injury or niggle arises, Eli can use his physiotherapy expertise to adjust and modify your training, rather than simply pulling you back or putting your running on hold.
Can anyone sign up?
Yes! Eli Burke has experience coaching athletes at every stage of their running journey. Whether you’ve been running for years or are just getting started, we’re here to guide you every step of the way.
Is Frequency Running physiotherapy?
Frequency Running is running coaching, delivered by a physiotherapist. Coaching can incorporate physiotherapy-informed principles around load management, injury prevention and strength, but it isn’t a substitute for an individual physiotherapy assessment when one is required.
What happens after I sign up?
Within 24 hours you’ll recieve a welcome email from frequency.running@outlook.com. This will include an initial questionnaire (Athlete Profile) covering your running history, goals, and relevant background. You'll also need to sign our waiver. From there, Eli will use that information to build your training and get you started.
You can find out more by visiting the 'Coaching' page.
How do I communicate with my coach?
Eli will organise a phone consult during your onboarding. You’ll also have weekly check-ins to review your training, discuss how you’re feeling and make adjustments where needed. Your coaching will be delivered through the Final Surge app which allows you to leave notes for Eli to review.
You can find out more by visiting the 'Coaching' page.
Can I cancel my training?
You can cancel your coaching membership at any time through Stripe. Your cancellation will take effect at the end of your current paid billing period, and you’ll retain access to coaching until then. Once cancellation takes effect, no further monthly fees will be charged. Refunds or partial refunds are not provided for the current billing period.
* For the best results, we recommend committing to at least three months. This gives Eli time to understand how your body responds to training, track meaningful progress, and fine-tune your program.
